Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Controller  you will be part of a busy Finance team, This role is ideal for a Part Qualified/ Assistant Accountant to gain fantastic experience and exposure to a busy finance environment.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports as required.
• Maintain the purchase ledger, sales ledger, and general ledger, ensuring all balance sheet accounts are reconciled at month-end.
• Prepare and execute the month-end payment run.
• Monitor and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
• Conduct monthly stock reconciliations and related work.
• Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments.
• Review and manage month-end overheads.
• Prepare VAT returns for both the UK and Ireland.
• Assist in the preparation of reports for the year-end audit.

Your Skills and Background

• Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or IATI or equivalent)
• Advanced Excel skills to ensure analysis of data
