About the Role

This role will support the financial management of a large portfolio of active construction projects, with a particular focus on project billing, contract administration, collections, and maintaining accurate project financial records. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with operations and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage project billings and AIA requisitions (G702/G703) across multiple active projects
  • Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to ensure accurate billing
  • Reconcile project billings against contract values and internal systems
  • Track project costs, billing status, retainage, and collections
  • Coordinate lien waivers, stored materials documentation, and other project requirements
  • Work with project managers and operations teams to support project financial performance
  • Maintain accurate project records and reporting
  • Assist with month-end project reconciliations and financial analysis
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines

What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of Project Accounting experience within construction
  • Strong understanding of AIA billing (G702/G703)
  • Experience working for a subcontractor, contractor, or construction-related business
  • Familiarity with project costing, contract administration, billing, and collections
  • Experience with Textura, GC Pay, Procure, Procore, or similar platforms
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working onsite, 5 days a week in Long Island
