About the Role
This role will support the financial management of a large portfolio of active construction projects, with a particular focus on project billing, contract administration, collections, and maintaining accurate project financial records. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with operations and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage project billings and AIA requisitions (G702/G703) across multiple active projects
- Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to ensure accurate billing
- Reconcile project billings against contract values and internal systems
- Track project costs, billing status, retainage, and collections
- Coordinate lien waivers, stored materials documentation, and other project requirements
- Work with project managers and operations teams to support project financial performance
- Maintain accurate project records and reporting
- Assist with month-end project reconciliations and financial analysis
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years of Project Accounting experience within construction
- Strong understanding of AIA billing (G702/G703)
- Experience working for a subcontractor, contractor, or construction-related business
- Familiarity with project costing, contract administration, billing, and collections
- Experience with Textura, GC Pay, Procure, Procore, or similar platforms
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable working onsite, 5 days a week in Long Island
