This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious, hands-on finance professional to step into a number one role, leading a small, established finance team and reporting directly to the Board.
About the role:
- Number one in finance, reporting directly to the Board with full ownership of the function
- Key strategic partner, influencing growth, investment and commercial decision-making
- Autonomy to shape and improve financial controls, processes and systems
- Opportunity to build, lead and develop the finance team
- Strong commercial exposure across contracts, margins, profitability and cost control
- Full ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow
- Lead Board reporting, delivering clear, commercially focused insights
- Oversight of audit and external stakeholder relationships
Your Experience:
- Qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA – 5 years post-qualified, 10 years + QBE
- Proven experience operating at a senior level within finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and best practices
- Proficient in Excel, Word and MS Outlook;
- Excellent administration skills, organised and able to prioritise workload;
- Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
