About the company: 

This is an exciting time to join the business as they continue to strengthen their finance function. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be part of a busy finance team. This role is well-suited to a recently qualified accountant looking to build strong experience and gain exposure in a fast-moving finance environment

About the job:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting analysis
• Ownership of the general ledger and month-end balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation and posting of month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments
• Monthly stock reporting and overhead review
• Production of monthly sales reports across multiple market segments
• Preparation of UK and Irish VAT returns
• Support with year-end audit preparation (trading and pension entities)
• Involvement in payroll processing and statutory/statistical returns
• Oversight and support of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams
• Ad hoc reporting and finance projects as required

Your Skills:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Ideal role for a Newly Qualified/Recently Qualified
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player who can work collaboratively
