About the company

This role will involve overseeing and mentoring a small finance team and taking ownership of the finance function, whilst working hand in hand with the CFO and wider senior management team to drive growth and profitability across the business. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts
• Overseeing and mentoring a small team of finance staff
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement across the business
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Business partnering with departmental managers
• KPI reporting
• Manage relationships with auditors and other key stakeholders
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in a similar role
• Experience in leading and developing a team
• Strong Excel and ERP skills
