Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the VAT team, providing strategic direction, technical expertise, and mentoring to ensure high-quality client service delivery.
• Develop and implement innovative VAT strategies to optimize tax positions for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business growth and cross-service collaboration.
• Oversee complex VAT compliance, advisory, and audit projects, ensuring deadlines are met and delivering exceptional value to clients.
• Stay updated on changes in VAT legislation and industry trends, providing thought leadership and insights to clients and the wider organization.

Your Experience

• ACA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification
• 8–10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in VAT advisory and compliance.
• In-depth technical expertise in domestic and international VAT legislation, including experience advising on complex cross-border transactions and industry-specific issues.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing professionals.
• Strong strategic and commercial mindset, with the ability to deliver innovative and practical solutions to complex VAT challenges in a dynamic environment.
